Email invite for Nickelodeon Staff Christmas Party
The lengthy amount of copy and the mandatory inclusion of several characters resulted in a fun but challenging exercise in design.
Emails for Aurora Fashions brand family
A series of welcome emails were designed for customers who sign up to the newsletters of the Aurora Fashions brands (Karen Millen, Coast, Oasis, Warehouse). The rich imagery of the brands needed an equally striking, and complementing, typography.
Splash screens for Nectar iPhone app
These screens were developed as potential splash screens to be incorporated into the existing Nectar app. They are an expansion of the current splash screen, which only displays the logo and a loading icon. The aim was to create a more informative splash screen, which displays data such as points balance and points value.
iPhone storyboards for prototypes
Wireframes and concept screens created for two prototype iPhone apps. One app would enable users to meet and greet at meetings/conferences and seamlessly exchange contact details. The other app would enable users to create postcards using templates and user photos and send/share them.
CNN
Designs were created for use on CNN documentaries, such as Nic Robertson's special report on Lybia's leader Muammar al-Gaddafi, aired in late 2009.
Channel Five's Holy Soap
Creating a website which could reflect the equally fun and dramatic style of soap operas was a challlenge. It was, however, helpful (and imperative) to draw on each soap opera's unique personality.
Channel Five's Fifth Gear
To concide with the broadcast of Fifth Gear's new series, Channel Five commissioned the creation of a brand new site which would act as the show's internet presence as well as a source of information and tools for prospective car buyers. A few simple road elements were used in the design, such as the motorway signs and road texture, to liven the site and reinforce its motoring personality.
One Condoms
A series of web page graphics and banners were created to promote the Design a Condom competition.
One Water
All of One Water's profits are used to build PlayPumps® water systems in Africa. A series of emails and banners were designed for a recent promotion. The designs included photographs taken during the installation of the PlayPumps®, complemented by bright and earthy textures.
BAA
These designs were presented to BAA for a possible re-design of the London Heathrow website. The client expressed a need to move away from the sterile feel of the old site to create a more inviting portal which would entice visitors to explore the airport not just as a travel hub, but as a great source of shopping and dining.
Heart FM
These designs were pitched to Heart FM. The site would include more functionality (message boards, tagging, user submissions) and could be a resource of varied information, such as movie reviews.
Links of London
I designed a series of emails communicating to customers the company's new collections. The design included close-up images of the jewellery and muted, classic colours for a stylish feel.
V&A Italian Renaissance
These designs were pitched to the V&A for their Italian Renaissance exhibit.
